Live Aloha

Hey everyone! How is your year going so far? It seems like 2016 holds a lot of exciting change and new adventures for many people out there. I was able to catch up with quite a few old friends over the past couple weeks and I’ve been surprised to hear everything from last minute plan changes to long anticipated dreams becoming reality. Everyone seems to be transitioning this year whether it was expected or not. These times are really exciting but they can also bring new challenges and require a lot of work. If you’re feeling the pressure of 2016, remember to be patient with yourself and trust the process.

Often times I am very resistant to change but this year I’ve decided to focus on embracing new surroundings and new ways of thinking. I’m opening my mind and my heart to accept new challenges and learn as much as I can. I will be posting less frequently on the blog over the next few months as I take on a new adventure of my own. I’ve enrolled in Gabrielle Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie Masterclass and I’ll be spending some time on Kauai (also referred to as the Garden Island of Hawaii). It’s green beauty is unimaginable. I am over the moon grateful and more excited than ever to have this opportunity. I haven’t been here a full week yet and my heart and soul already feel nourished. My goal is to learn how to ‘live aloha‘ while I’m here and find a way to carry this sense of peace with me wherever I go.

Although I won’t be posting beauty reviews and regular material, I’ll still be checking in to update everyone on how things are moving along and share a few tropical island smoothie recipes!

Sending warm smiles and vibrant aloha, xo.
