Blueberry Basil Meal-in-a-Jar.

Blueberry Basil Smoothie | The Fig's Heart.

1 kiwi
2 celery stalks
1/2 cucumber (peeled)
big handful of spinach

couple sprigs of fresh basil
1/2 avocado
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
(optional) 1 scoop natural protein powder

Juice the first 4 ingredients and add the liquid in a blender with the rest.
Blend until smooth, sprinkle with chia seeds, enjoy!

The high levels of vitamin C also repairs the skin by healing cuts and abrasions and preventing rough/dry patches.

BASIL has anti-anxiety effects on the body and combats against stress. We all know how stress negatively impacts the quality of our skin. Basil is also a great detoxifier for the liver!

The folate found in SPINACH helps maintain and repair DNA and the extra water in the leafy greens helps to plump the skin and prevent wrinkles.

The monounsaturated fats in AVOCADO help maintain good moisture levels in the skin that give it that soft and healthy look. Omega-9 fats found in avocados help to reduce skin redness and irritation.
