I’ve really come to love Tory Burch over the past year. She recently came out with her first beauty line in Fall 2013 and I finally got my hands on her new scent!
This Eau de Parfum is a lively mix between Tory’s “feminine poise and tomboyish childhood”. It’s easy to wear and gives me a polished and put together feeling. I love the fresh peony and earthy vetiver notes. I think it’s a good fresh scent for Spring and I’ve enjoyed wearing it to work for the past couple of weeks. It won’t be a signature scent for me but I can definitely see myself coming back to this perfume for things like business meetings, a weekend brunch, or a day at the beach. It has a very crisp citrus scent that feels quite clean and I’m usually drawn to perfumes with more mystery and sensuality. But don’t get me wrong, I would still recommend this as a lovely fragrance to those who enjoy a light and fresh aroma. It has a very pretty and professional feel to it and I think it’s a great perfume to have on hand. If you’re thinking about giving it a try, ask for a sample and wear it for a day or two to really get a feel for it.
The super-chic glass bottle that it comes in has a wonderful architectural cap that will make you want to display it on your vanity. I really like the design. The Tory Burch beauty collection also includes a Lipstick that comes in 12 great shades, a Lip & Cheek Tint that comes in one darling shade called The Cat’s Meow, and a nourishing Body Cream that highlights her new fragrance. I can’t wait to try out more from Tory Burch’s new beauty line.
Eau de Parfum: $82.00 per 50ml.
