Miss Manga Mascara.

I don’t usually fall for mascara advertisements. I have my signature mascaras that I rarely stray from so it takes more persuading than normal to sell me on this. However, as soon as I saw the Voluminous Miss Manga by L’Oréal Paris I was instantly drawn to it. I love the whole advertisement design behind this. I don’t know if it’s the wide eyed panda, or the shiny pink packaging that sparked my obsession, but I am absolutely in love with the Japanese style packaging. I also like the name, Miss Manga. So cute! Everything about this is so cute and made me want to be a part of it.

Fun fact: I just found out Manga is a Japanese style of animation. Big doll-eyes. This explains a lot.

I actually bought this with the mentality that I probably won’t ever use it because it won’t be up to my mascara-standards, but I was both surprised and impressed with the formula! It is a little bit clumpy, but the thick dramatic voluminous clumpy that makes your eyelashes really stand out. It doesn’t flake through out the day which I was most impressed with, and it comes off nicely at the end of the day with some makeup remover. The wand is extremely flexible, I don’t know if that made a difference to the application or not, but I like the small cone shaped brush. Miss Manga, you can stay!
