My hands are always pretty dry this time of year. I usually have hand creams stashed everywhere and ready to go when the season rolls around but this year was a little different. I’m trying to incorporate all-natural products into my routine and I hadn’t invested in a hand cream yet. I’ve got the body butters and such, but I needed something smaller that could fit into my purse and sit on my desk or my bed side table, etc. I went on a hunt around town for some good options and I’m happy to share what I found.
My favourite of the bunch is definitely the Eminence Organics Vanilla Mint Hand Cream. Christine actually put this in my stocking this year and I was so excited when I opened it. What a treat! Comes in a perfectly sized bottle and sinks into the skin really quick without leaving any oily feelings on your hands. The mint and vanilla combination is cool and refreshing and the formula is soufflé soft! I’ll be repurchasing this one for sure.
100% Pure Vanilla Bean Hand Buttercream. Smells delicious! This one is simple, easy, and does the job nicely. A great one to stash in your purse for those on-the-go moments.
Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Hand Butter. Yum, this one can be used as a hand or body butter, it’s got a lovely soft texture and a beautiful scent. The jar isn’t ideal for travelling so I keep this one on my nightstand or bathroom counter. Really hydrating and softening. I picked up a couple of these jars in a pack at Sephora and I would definitely recommend them.
Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Treatment. This one leaves your hands oily so I recommend using it before you go to bed rather than throughout the day. It’s extremely hydrating and really helps my dry cuticles and hang nails. I like to massage this onto my nails and knuckles (the driest areas of my hands) and then use one of the other creams on my palms, etc.
Have you tried any of these? What are your favourite products for dry hands?
