I can finally say I am the proud owner of a Carrot Butter Cleanser from The Organic Pharmacy (biggest grin ever). This popular cleansing balm is one of the best selling products at The Organic Pharmacy and a favourite to so many beauty-gurus around the globe.
It’s a small investment to purchase (I was very lucky to receive this as a Christmas gift) but the quality is well worth it. The packaging is so luxurious, I love a good sturdy jar. The formula is firm and should be scooped out with the small spoon provided. It’s not recommended to use your fingers as this could collect bacteria in the product over time. Once the product hits your skin, it almost instantly melts into a beautifully soft oil (shown below). You only need a small amount so the 75ml jar will last a long time.
This cleanser is good for all skin types and effortlessly removes dirt, grime, pollution, dead skin, and all make-up including eye make-up. I use this every night to gently remove all my makeup and prep my skin for a proper cleanse. To use, put a small amount directly onto dry skin and massage well. Spend about a minute gently buffing the product into your skin to really loosen up your makeup. Rinse off with a warm face cloth (if you only use water, the product might feel too oily on your skin so it’s better to remove with a muslin or face cloth). This is a great product to pair with another exfoliating cleanser in your double-cleansing routine. The all-natural and organic formula will leave your skin soft, comfortable, and glowing.
The key ingredients include: antioxidant rich carrot and calendula, decongesting rosemary, soothing lavender and chamomile, hydrating jojoba oil and beeswax, as well as sesame seed oil, cocoa butter, marigold extract, and vitamin E. It has a very relaxing scent (from the lavender). Such a treat!
This would be a great product to use while practicing your facial massage techniques. Unfortunately this brand isn’t easily available in Canada but it ships to almost every other country online. I’m so happy with the Carrot Butter Cleanser and I’ve already got a few other goodies picked out that I’m hoping to try.
