Petit Vour Beauty Box: August 2014.

Petit Vour Beauty Box | The Fig's Heart.

My first Petit Vour Beauty Box arrived this week! If you haven’t heard of this company before, it’s a North American beauty box subscription service that delivers ethical luxury miniatures (and sometimes full size) products right to your doorstep each month. Every month you will get a new selection of goodies including makeup, skincare, haircare, nail care, fragrances, and more. Petit Vour only selects brands that contain no animal products, parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, and a list of other nasty ingredients! They are 100% cruelty-free and always high quality. It’s such a fun way to discover new niche brands and try luxury products that you wouldn’t normally purchase. Here are a few things I loved from the August 2014 box…

Earth Body Sacred Skincare – Brighten Cleanser & Mask. They call this one a “daily vinyasa” for your face. Made with Moroccan clay, pumpkin seed powder, and mangosteen to firm and hydrate your skin leaving it with the perfect glow. This product is rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and vitamins. Use as a daily cleanser and a weekly mask (leave on clean skin for 15-20 minutes). This sample size is going to last a very long time. I think it’s my favourite in the box this month, what a lovely treat.

Beauty Without Cruelty – Natural Eye Pencil. These lovely liners have a rich and creamy formula that stay put all day. They are designed to create the illusion of naturally fuller lashes. They included a full size of this pencil which retails at $20.00! Score.

Mi-Me – Tangerine Hydrating Lip Butter. So this is something I will buy again, and probably again. It’s a handmade incredibly delicious lip product made with the butters of coconut, shea, mango, avocado, murumuru, tucuma, and more. I can’t stop applying this and I really want to try out a few other products from the talented duo that makes Mi-Me.

Have you tried any beauty box subscriptions? Any favourites? Let me know :)
