Well this post is coming at you a little late. I’ve had the Petit Vour Beauty Box service for 6 months now and I’m still really impressed. If you haven’t heard of this company before, it’s a North American beauty box subscription service that delivers ethical luxury miniatures (and sometimes full size) products right to your doorstep each month. The products are absolutely gorgeous and very carefully selected (meeting all the cruelty-free and non-toxic criteria). It’s such a fun way to discover and try new brands!
The November box had some beautiful oils. The Caru Skincare Rose Facial Serum was perfect for me to pack around over the holidays. It’s very soothing and hydrating and smells divine! The Earthbody Sacred Skincare Dream Body Oil is also a perfect size for travelling. I like using this one as soon as I get out of the shower, while my skin is still a little damp.
I was really excited to try the Au Naturale Organic Creme Concealer and Creme Eye Shadow in the shade Palma. I really like the design and marketing from this brand and I’ve read some good things about the products. I haven’t tried the concealer yet but the eye shadow applies nice and smooth and gives a subtle shimmer.
The December box was the best one I’ve received so far! All of the products were either full size or very generous sample sizes. I actually love and will use each one of them.
Starting with the one I was most excited to find…Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream. Score! This little gem has been popping up all over the green beauty world and I was so happy to find it in my December collection. I have never found a natural deodorant that I actually like. I normally go for unscented deodorants because I don’t want them to interfere with other smells (perfume) but the fresh lavender scent of this one is nice. Meow Meow Tweet combines baking soda, arrowroot, and clay to keep your underarms dry and control door. They also include organic plant oils and shea butter to moisturize and soothe the sensitive underarm skin.
Blissoma Holistic Skincare Peace Evening Calming Cream. I used this the night that I opened the box. The ingredient list is seriously impressive. Just to give you a taste…dulse seaweed, nori seaweed, dandelion, pumpkin seed oil, coconut oil, comfrey, chamomile, vitamin E, and the list goes on. It smells very earthy, but I like it. Really soothing, good for all skin types.
The Everyday Minerals Matte Blush in All Smiles. I like small blushes because I don’t use them very often. My cheeks are so naturally rosy/red that I’m usually trying to take the pigmentation out rather than add more on. It’s nice to have a warm blush for those days when I want a little extra colour though. I really like the rich auburn shade of this one, it could almost take the place of bronzer if used correctly.
Yes I did get a full size Trust Fund Nail Polish. Take a good look at the packaging, gorgeous! This lovely pink shade is called Money Buys Happiness. I love the names, they’re all so sassy. They call themselves “a lifestyle in a bottle” kind of company. I think they’re great. This polish is the full 5-free as well as cruelty free. Love it!
