I’ve had the Petit Vour Beauty Box service for a few months now and I’m really impressed with it. If you haven’t heard of this company before, it’s a North American beauty box subscription service that delivers ethical luxury miniatures (and sometimes full size) products right to your doorstep each month. The products are absolutely gorgeous and it’s the best way to discover and try new brands! Here are a few of my favourites from the last two boxes…
Root Science Pure Balance Skin Elixir. This facial oil is packed full of healing, soothing, and nutrient dense ingredients including blue chamomile and vitamins A, C, and E. It’s gentle enough to use even under the eye area and will leave your skin “glowing with gratitude”. This is a great facial oil to use for a facial massage! Made in small batches in California.
Yarok Feed Your Ends Leave-In Conditioner. This product is everywhere in the green beauty world right now. An instant cult favourite. This light water-based conditioner smells incredible and protects your hair from heat damage while providing it with vitamins, minerals and essential oils. Apply to damp hair before blow drying to protect and add shine. “Food for you head. Good for the earth.” Simple as that folks!
S.W. Basics Minimalist Skincare Cleanser. There are three ingredients in this non-foaming soap-free product: organic rosewater, organic vegetable glycerin, and organic tea tree oil. It smells so heavenly and does just what a cleanser should, cleans your face without stripping, clogging, drying, or irritating. “Be nice to your face. Save suds for dirty dishes.” Made from scratch in Brooklyn, New York.
Pacifica Devocean Natural Lipstick. I’m all into the natural lipsticks right now so I was excited to find this in my November box. I got the shade XOX which is a lovely pink/nude shade. These lipsticks are very hydrating and you can smell the sweet coconut oil they are made with, I love that! They have a nice full colour and last with good intensity. My lips feel so soft after wearing this lipstick and the packaging of this product is really cute! I hope Pacifica will make a larger shade range because these are awesome.
Have you tried any of these brands? Do you prescribe to a monthly beauty box? Check out the August 2014 box.
