You might remember last Christmas when I shared the Holiday #GreenBeauty Swap that I did with Annabel. Well, NatuRia Beauty hosted another swap this Summer and I was beyond excited to find out that I was paired up with Sabrina from Call It Vanity! She’s super talented, gorgeous, and inspires me to be a little more badass. She also completely spoiled me with skincare goodies all the way from London, England. I’ve been savouring up every little drop of these delicious products. I realize it’s the end of September and I’m a little late posting about our Summer exchange but I had to share because I’ve discovered some new favourites.
The Balm Balm Organic Facial Kit. This is adorable and completely luxurious. It comes carefully wrapped up in a canvas bag with their Organic Muslin Face Cloth, Super Light Coconut Cleanser, Original Witch Hazel Toner, Hibiscus Face Mask, and Little Miracle Rosehip Serum. The products were very gentle but still effective (which is important for someone like me with combination/oily skin). I adore the floral and earthy scents that make up each blend, I wasn’t surprised to find out the founder is also a certified aromatherapist and perfumer. This kit is such a nice way to try out the brand and really get a feel for their products. I love using the rosehip oil at night as a moisturizer. The hibiscus mask gently exfoliates and balances the complexion. I was really impressed with this brand and I would definitely try more from them.
Naisture Collagen Sheet Mask. I haven’t used this one yet, I’m saving it for a super special occasion. I love sheet masks, especially ones loaded with one of my favourite ingredients: hyaluronic acid! The collagen comes from carrots by the way, so it’s naturally anti-aging and plumping. I already know this mask will be amazing, mostly because Lisa Eldridge herself actually recommends this mask to her readers! Ummm…thank you x 1000 Sabrina.
Nourish Soothing Toning Mist. I used this bottle up real quick! Not because it didn’t last but because I really liked it and I go through toners faster than anyone you know. I think you’re supposed to use like one to three mists of toner to cover your face per use. Yes? Well I use about six to seven mists. Can’t help it. The relaxing lavender essential oil makes it soothing and antibacterial on the skin which is just what I need.
Pai Comfrey & Calendula Calming Body Cream. I’m so happy that I can finally try this brand! I’ve heard nothing but great things about Pai Skincare from so many different sources. Sabrina totally hooked me up with a ton of samples from their collection (even limited edition ones). The products are made right in London, England and it’s probably one of the best UK green-beauty brands out there. Loved the body lotion. I mean comfrey and calendula, you simply can’t go wrong with those two.
Pai Kukui & Jojoba Skin Brightening Exfoliator. Softening, brightening, gentle. Love this cleanser, I’ve been using it nightly after I remove my makeup.
Pai Kukui & Kaolin Clarifying Face Mask (Limited Edition). Jealous? It’s made with kaolin clay and lactic acid to smooth, exfoliate, and brighten! A creamy citrus formula. Yum.
Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil. Well I ended up buying an entire bottle of this so a full review to come soon ;) Also, this is what Sabrina refers to as her holy grail product. Quite the status.
Wild Honey Apothecary Indigo Magic Mask. Manuka honey is charged with the essence of a kyanite crystal (intended to awaken the third eye and bring mental clarity) then combined with fresh blueberries and jojoba oil. This is everything and more to me. What an incredible brand, I love their holistic approach to skincare. They charge all of their products with crystals and gemstones to enhance the intensions and properties of the formulas. Fully obsessed, how did I not know about this brand earlier?
Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask. I threw this one on my face without even reading Sabrina’s note. Zing! It’s got a real kick to it. An exfoliating and resurfacing AHA mask to revitalize and brighten the complexion.
R.L. Linden & Co. Whole Lotta Roses Probiotic Mask. It’s like Sabrina knew that I would be obsessing over all things rose by the time her parcel arrived. I honestly can’t get enough of roses lately and I love trying them in all different forms, especially neat ones like a powder formula. This dry mask can be mixed with water or honey but for the total goddess experience I mixed it with rose tea. Mmmhmm…the pink clay, strawberry powder, and yogurt in this mask leave your skin absolutely glowing! An instant favourite for me.
I’m so happy I decided to join the #GreenBeauty Swap again this year. It’s such a nice way to personally connect with other bloggers, share your favourite products and secret tips, and discover some amazing new brands that you might not be able to purchase in your area. Thank you again Sabrina, I absolutely love everything! You’re the greatest.
